Hip-hop & Circus with Kurtis Garcia & Morgane Lenzi
The 2 day intensive Circus & Hip Hop workshop in October 2018 was a unique, exciting and creative journey. The students used their pre-existing skills as a base for creation. Hip Hop dance and other elements of the Hip Hop culture were also used as tools and inspiration in the creative process.
Each session started with a warm up, followed by a mix of Hip Hop dance and acrobatics. After that, participants were divided into groups and had the opportunity to work and create within their chosen field: aerial dance, acrobatics, hip hop dance, or other disciplines they specialised in. Elements of Hip Hop culture, such as rap, human beat box, DJing, Bboying and Graffiti were explained and implemented throughout the whole workshop, with the intention to enrich the students' creative process. At the end of the whole 2 days participants had the chance to present the outcome of their work in front of the other participants.

Performers through dance and music
The windows to the soul, to the child or inner child, to the search, to the listening, to the sensitivity, to the moment, to the wind... here they are, in the highlands, now even more twinned. Short, like he had to feel, intense, fun, different and expanded, like he got out. A pleasure to be able to share this project and this way of understanding the art, the listening and the look.

Handstand and Handbalancing with Daniel Baranski
The workshop was about handstand positioning and conditioning followed by progression according to the participants level, strength and experience.
"My handstand workshop is for everybody who wants to learn and maintain handstand skill for years, not only during period of intensive practice. It is also for those who want to improve a shape and make it almost effortless to hold the pose. My students have various backgrounds, some are yogis, cross fitters, calisthenic athletes, circus performers or people who just want to master handstand as kind of a challenge. During the workshop I will explain different handstand shapes and show training methods to develop them. We will also work on specific conditioning and stretching exercises. In the advanced group, where everyone should be able to hold freestanding handstand for at least 5-10 seconds, I will show methods to develop hand balancing skills, elephant lift, one hand handstand, push-ups and controlled walking."
