We will work hard but also have fun! This class is for complete beginners or for those with a little experience in acrobatics. Each class will begin with warm up and conditioning, followed by handstand training - different ways of going into handstand, holding against the wall, working with a spotter, working on extending hold time in different positions.

This class begins with a yoga flow warm-up followed by partner acrobalance lessons which include static figures, moving between positions, and combining these into a sequence ("washing machines"). We'll then cool down with restorative stretches and meditation. This new class is suitable for complete beginners, or anyone wanting to further their yoga practice, strength, or is curious about circus-style acrobatics.

A persistent myth about contortionists is that they are all born with unusual natural flexibility, while this is true in some cases with persistent training anybody can attain the same level of flexibility . This class is for students who want to improve their existing flexibility skills. It will build a foundation of contortion basics. It's for those with willingness and ability to try basic contortion tricks, such as: bridges, chest stand, over splits, elbow stands and more. Classes will be tailored to suit individual skill levels.
